introducing our new fractured chalk stripe wool and linen cloth. 

for winter 2026/27 we present a new wool/linen mix fabric with a fractured, woven, chalk stripe. sourced from a small italian mill, it has a lovely ‘dry’ handle and vintage dickensian menswear look and feel.

it comes in 6 designs. a buttoned waistcoat, with overflowing chocolate brown silk velvet lining which provides warmth and suggests a shrunken patina of age, features a secret interior pocket. following this theme is the neat fitting frill stanley jacket, with a little snippet of velvet visible at the collar. 

rowan skirt has a lovely silhouette. it has a wrap pleat at the front and back, two welt pockets at the front and a broad panel with horizontal stripes at the hem.

tailored line pants are cut in panels to form tulip shaped ‘barrel legs’ and feature 3 practical pockets.

team these with jasper jacket, which is a loosely tailored garment with a large pleat in the centre back and two lines of hand-crafted wooden buttons for an adjustable fit. it is lined with a soft brushed cotton and has practical pockets. 

lastly, we have warm jacket. the shape is taken from our classic big stan jacket and re-imagined for fall and winter, with hand painted wooden buttons up to the neck, with wrist length sleeves and welt flap pockets.

each piece is crafted by highly skilled women artisans in our fairtrade vietnam workshop and is intended to be enjoyed over many years.
